Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz confirmed in a press conference that the first shipment of laptops had arrived in Pakistan and laptop distribution ceremonies will be held under the Honhaar Scholarship Programme.

Chief Minister Laptop Scheme 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Program Overview:

Initially, the government plans to distribute 50,000 latest laptops to deserving students. Annually 2000 laptops will be distributed and CM also added that 2000 laptops will also be given to Intermediate and Matriculation students to fulfill the requirements of the scheme.

Latest Devices to Be Distributed Under CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025:

Students applying under the Chief Minister’s Laptop Scheme will receive 13th-generation Core i7 laptops. This will encourage students to research and learn more about digital education and modern technology. Top students from Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools having at least 65% or above marks will also have such latest laptops.

Allocation Details as per CM Punjab Official Team:

• 20,000 laptops for university students.
• 14,000 laptops for college students
• 4,000 laptops for students from technical and agricultural colleges.
• 2,000 laptops for students from medical and dental colleges.

Note: Students from South Punjab will receive 32% of the total collection.

How to Apply Complete Application Process:

Currently, for CM Punjab Laptop Scheme has not set any online application submission procedure because it authorized institutions to compile data on eligible students. Institutions will submit the complete data to the Higher Education Commission Punjab, which will release the final lists of selected students.

• Registration will begin in February 2025.
