The Prime Minister of Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif has announced the Laptop Scheme 2014. Before these schemes Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif has awarded free laptops among all students of Punjab who had got 60% and 70% marks in annual and semester system respectively. The announcement of laptop distribution by the PM Nawaz Sharif for students is appreciate able step and for this time PM’s Scheme will provide free 100 thousands laptops to brilliant and intelligent students, who are currently studying at public sector Colleges and universities of all Boards of Pakistan in which Matriculation, Intermediate, Bachelors, Masters and MPhill and Ph.D. is included. The Prime Minister’s Scheme for Laptop Distribution will be held in all over the Pakistan and this time this scheme will facilitate the brilliant students studying in every corner of Pakistan.

Eligibility Criteria:
Students included both male and female, who are registered in an HEC approved educational institution will be eligible for PM’s Laptop Scheme. Moreover all students at Masters Level and 50% under-graduate students will also facilitate by the laptop scheme.

Geographical Distribution:
The Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s Laptop Scheme will held in all over the Pakistan, students registered in an HEC approved institute from across the Pakistan can get benefit from the laptop scheme and 100,000 students from across Pakistan will be facilitate by laptop scheme.

Estimated Cost Per Laptop:
According to previous Laptop scheme, we can estimate the cost of each laptop and it is estimated that each laptop will cost Rs. 40,000.

Laptop Scheme’s Budget Allocation:
The laptop scheme’s allocated budget is Rs. 4.0 billion. This amount is mentioned by the Government of Pakistan in its report about the Laptop Scheme.

Executing Departments:
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) / Ministry of Education and Trainings will perform its duty in the fare distribution of laptops. As Government of the Punjab has successfully implemented the scheme and provided free laptops to students of Punjab in the past. And that project was declared fare and fine Transparency International Pakistan and there was not little corruption was found in CM’s laptop scheme.

    suno dosto jis ko aik martaba laptop mil chuka ha un ko dobara nhe milay ga.aur public uni main parhtay hain un ki registration khud ba khud ho jati ha uni khud un k nam aur number likh kr send kr deti ha.so ap tension na lain 70% walay ko laptop dia jae ga.private uni walon ko laptop nhe dia jae ga.

    jis k marks 70% hain us ko milay ga gpa per nhe marks per laptop milay ga kun k kuch universities main 3 gpa 65% marks per bhe ha so jis k 70% marks hain laptop un ko milay ga

    when we were the students of MBA then we were deprived from laptops. and now when we did MBA 2012 the scheme is for ALL? this is not Fair. we want Laptop we have a long journey we are still students.

    after fsc, some students don’t get admission in any institution.but by the next year they will get admission.so will they not affiliated with this scheme?

      your question does not make any sense at all… only those students will be awarded that are currently enrolled in any of the program in public sector university with 70% marks in last examination either Fsc or Bachelor exam. so those students are not eligible..
