Eligibility Criteria:
Students included both male and female, who are registered in an HEC approved educational institution will be eligible for PM’s Laptop Scheme. Moreover all students at Masters Level and 50% under-graduate students will also facilitate by the laptop scheme.

Geographical Distribution:
The Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s Laptop Scheme will held in all over the Pakistan, students registered in an HEC approved institute from across the Pakistan can get benefit from the laptop scheme and 100,000 students from across Pakistan will be facilitate by laptop scheme.

Estimated Cost Per Laptop:
According to previous Laptop scheme, we can estimate the cost of each laptop and it is estimated that each laptop will cost Rs. 40,000.

Laptop Scheme’s Budget Allocation:
The laptop scheme’s allocated budget is Rs. 4.0 billion. This amount is mentioned by the Government of Pakistan in its report about the Laptop Scheme.

Executing Departments:
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) / Ministry of Education and Trainings will perform its duty in the fare distribution of laptops. As Government of the Punjab has successfully implemented the scheme and provided free laptops to students of Punjab in the past.
