Required Skills

Field of Expertise:

1. A minimum of seven (7) years practical experience in the field of project design, management and monitoring & evaluation, including at least 3 years experience in a managerial capacity on issues related to the renewable energy and energy efficiency in industry, climate change, technology transfer and investment promotion in industry.
2. Extensive knowledge of the energy sector and renewable energy and energy efficiency sectors in Pakistan and experience with technical cooperation in Pakistan will be an added advantage.
3. A minimum of three (3) years proven hands-on experience with energy efficiency projects in industry, especially energy management systems (EnMS) and System Optimization.
4. Experience in climate change mitigation technology applications including experience in the design and implementation of mitigation projects, preferably those funded by the GEF.
5. Knowledge of the specific challenges, opportunities and constraints of SMEs, industrial and private sector investment for promotion in Pakistan.
6. Familiarity with various international projects on mitigation development and applications, with experience in Pakistan being an asset.
