Senate of Pakistan has started “Clerks of Parliament Program” and in this program it will provide opportunity to the candidates having 16 years education to be a part of internship in which they will earn reasonable amount. Selected candidates will not only get chance to work in Senate of Pakistan and also they will make their experience much polish by working in such challenging environment. Candidates willing to apply for the Clerk of the Parliament post should possess at least 16 years qualification from any HEC recognized institute and those candidates having higher qualification are also welcome to apply, age of candidate should be between 22 to 33 years. There are total twenty seats which are divided on different quotas such as (Merit, Punjab, Sindh Rural, Sindh Urban, KPK, Balochistan and Gilgit Balistan / Northern Areas).

Let’s discuss about the selection procedure that candidates first have to appear for IBA test and test will be based on English, General Knowledge, Current Affairs and History subjects. Candidates qualified from written test will called for interview and after interview selected candidates will appear for two months as Clerks and those candidates who performed satisfactory during these two months will sign a contract of 16 months Internship and those candidates who perform satisfactory during these 16 months will appoint as permanent employee of Senate of Pakistan. After completion of duration of internship program final selection will be based on written test, Interview and Performance of candidate.
